In-Depth Treatment Analysis Price: $150.00
10 pages of story notes, addressing all the elements of the treatment, including a detailed suggestions for transforming it into a screenplay OR one-on-one story meeting. (Add $1.00 per additional page for treatments exceeding 20 pages.)
Executive Treatment Analysis Price: $225.00
Up to 15 pages of story notes, addressing all the elements of the treatment, including a detailed suggestions and solutions for transforming it into a screenplay AND one hour story meeting. (Add $1.00 per additional page for treatments exceeding 20 pages.)What do I get for my treatment consultation fee?
The Script Archeologist's staff will read your treatment and return a copy, which will include additional typed notes. During a telephone consultation for In-Depth and Executive Treatment Analysis, we will analyze your treatment, letting you know if your story will work as a screenplay while advising you of any potential problems you may encounter.

FORMATTING Basic level of Screenplay formatting:
Proofread screenplay and returned, $150.00 (150 page max) $1.00 per page thereafter.
Advanced level of Screenplay formatting:Proofread screenplay with line-by-line page notes hand written in screenplay and returned. $300.00
Editorial Analysis (MANUSCRIPTS):The Script Archeologist provides an evaluaton of your unpublished manuscript, including a 15 page (max) checklist providing feedback and recommendations on overall text, English usage (grammar, spelling, punctuation), content (ambiguities, text flow problems), formatting issues & potential permission issues. Other editorial notes include overall text (audience, tone), notes or bibliography errors & potential permissions issues. $150.00
Regular Copyediting (MANUSCRIPTS):$0.02 per word. This level of copyediting is a basic edit for grammatical errors and punctuation, minor errors in syntax, words and phrases that are questionable which will be flagged for editing, errors in common knowledge plus inappropriate choices of phrases or words for the subject or readership. A check for permissions in the use of quotes, lyrics, images etc will be included.
CONTACT US for quote Light Copyediting (MANUSCRIPTS):$0.010 per word. This level of copyediting is includes the same objectives for editorial copyediting as with regular copyediting. The advantage is that with some manuscripts less editing is required.
CONTACT US for quote Heavy Copyediting (MANUSCRIPTS):$0.020 per word. This level of copyediting is for manuscripts submitted in a format that does not lend itself to traditional publishing. Editorial objectives are as with regular copyediting with additional checks for more serious syntax errors, fact verification through research (most items as warranted by the work based on checks for quotes, names, etc), minor story content/plotline and character trait inconsistencies/digressions, and major organizational problems with sentences or paragraphs.
This level does not include paragraphs reorganization in regards to logical flow nor does it include excessive direction to the author. If required then we recommend having a complete developmental edit done.
CONTACT US for quote Developmental Editing (MANUSCRIPTS):$0.050 per word. At this level there is serious committment required by both author and editor in order to effectively convert the manuscript into a viable and publishable work. This is needed when the manuscript does not lend itself to traditional publishing due to poor organization at chapter and paragraph levels. Accuracy of included information as well as exclusion of submitted content may be required. All processes included in heavy copyediting are used in developmental editing services.

WHEN SHOULD I USE A SCRIPT CONSULTANT?
As it applies to the gaming industry, the same mistakes that writers in other areas make, can result in the same negative reactions in its users. Gamers are very specific in what they like and don’t like. The industry openly scrutinizes products more intensely than other industries. The benefits of a great story and proper storytelling cannot be understated in the game industry.

Submissions that go over these page counts must include an extra $2/page over the limit. These limits are to discourage excessively long scripts which typically are much more difficult to pitch from the start without proven track records from their authors.

· TV sitcoms = 45 pages
· Short film scripts = 25 pages
· Novels and manuscripts = 300 pages
· Treatments, Outlines, Notes = 20pp
