ORDERING & PAYMENT DETAILS:

Premise Evaluation Service
Premise Evaluation: $100.00 Our Premise Evaluation consists of an examination of the basic concept of your idea to determine how well it lends itself to adaptation to screenplay form.
Included in the examination is the creation of a proposed 'Log Line' (1 – 2 sentences). As an added benefit we provide up to 3 potential versions for you to consider.
Using our resources we will perform a 'parallel property' search similar to that done as part of script clearance. Though not as intense as a typical script clearance search, it will cover a wide range of sources including title search amongst using other criteria. A search of listing of projects currently in production will be included.
A thorough excavation of the potential of how your idea might be successfully developed is completed. Tying into accessing our Script Doctoring services, our notes include a proposal for having your idea fully developed.

A vital element of writing is the Value Change, which is necessary for a story to move forward. The Script Archeologist provides a unique analysis, charting Dramatic-Value Changes in your script.
Dramatic Value describes the 'beat value' in terms of its intensity.
Our Proprietary Service plots the story's Dramatic-Value Curve over the length of your entire script. The 'beat value' is calculated by our proprietary Beat Analysis System based on a histogram of story beats executed and their dramatic values.
The resulting graphic analysis illustrates where your story correctly builds and continues to evolve through dramatic value changes, and where it flat-lines. These flat-lines or plateaus represent problems that can result in the reader losing interest, being confused and/or a breakdown of the story movement.

Submissions that go over these page counts must include an extra $2/page over the limit. These limits are to discourage excessively long scripts which typically are much more difficult to pitch from the start without proven track records from their authors.
